In the Measles & Immunity Lab, we tested 96 students who had been exposed to the measles infection in an elementary school with the ELISA test . We used this test to determine whether students were immune, not immune, or infected. Our goal was to determine if the school should be quarantined or not. To determine this we took blood samples of the students and tested them using IgM and IgG solutions. We added a drop of IgM to the samples of 48 students and a drop of IgG to the other 48 student samples. If the samples that had IgM turned yellow, that meant that the student was infected
